Delivering Dictionaries & Dad Jokes

February 11, 2021 - Join the Rotary Club of Pago Pago on an adventure as Cherith, Lenita, and Joey travel to Aunu’u Island for a very special delivery. (Beware the Bonus Bad Dad Jokes, too!)

Each year, the Rotary Club of Pago Pago has distributes free dictionaries to 3rd Grade students across the island. Approximately 1000 dictionaries are given out and the program is a smashing success with students keeping their dictionaries throughout their school careers.

Each year, some 30 volunteers visit over 20 elementary schools in American Samoa presenting free dictionaries to over 1000 3rd graders. This is both a fun learning opportunity for the students and a wonderful public relations opportunity for the Rotary Club to spread the spirit of Service Above Self.

Rotary Club's community service efforts are funded by club members and community fundraising. You can participate in projects like this one by donating or volunteering.
